Logitek released a new beta version of its JetLink software codec over the weekend, and the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive.
While we still have some known issues to solve which are noted in the release notes, our team is releasing weekly updates and responding to the feedback from our beta testers.
JetLink replaces your old hardware codecs with software that sends broadcast quality audio between two computers using the Opus codec. With ISDN lines being phased out around the world and radio becoming more virtualized, we think the time is now for a software solution.
There’s still time to join the beta program at jetlink.co and try our remote software for free.
Houston – USA / Terneuzen – The Netherlands, September 13th, 2017 – Today, Logitek Electronic Systems and Broadcast Partners announced that they will cooperate in launching the award winning Helix audio console in Western Europe.
At IBC 2017, September 15 – 19 2017 in Amsterdam RAI, Logitek’s Helix will be demonstrated live in a full multimedia environment at the Broadcast Partners booth. Helix will be shown in a 12 fader- and master module configuration connected to the Jetstream mainframe and integrated to AerOn Studio, the full option playout software product from Broadcast Partners.
Winner of the NewBay Best of Show award from Radio Magazine at the 2017 NAB Show, Helix is the modern new audio AoIP console from Logitek. Tap or swipe on Helix’s touchscreens to change sources, make bus assignments, or add EQ and dynamics to easily configure your mix. When your eyes need to be elsewhere while on the air, motorized faders and large on/off buttons make it easy to mix audio eyes-free. Or, put your console on a sheet of glass with Helix Studio, the virtual console that works both as a standalone console or a remote control for a physical Helix. It’s a radically different approach to audio consoles.
At IBC 2017, Logitek Helix will be available at Broadcast Partners in hall 8, stand C81.

Since 1979, Logitek has been designing and manufacturing innovative, simple to use products for broadcasters. The first North American console manufacturer to embrace router-based consoles (starting in the 1990s), Logitek also pioneered the use of virtual consoles/router controls for efficiency and space savings in the studio, and was the first to offer on-board profanity delays, processing and other functions in its console designs. Logitek’s networked console systems are used in radio and television facilities worldwide. Product information is available at www.logitekaudio.com.
